Matthew specialises in prisoner rights, including judicial review claims and has a particular interest in lifers, and health/community issues pertaining to prisoners. He qualified as a Solicitor in 1995 having trained with Alexander and Partners in London. He subsequently worked at a number of legal aid firms in London and more recently Brighton. He has been a Mental Health Review Tribunal panel member since qualification.
On joining PAS Mathew says "It is an enormous privilege to be involved with PAS's work. It has an outstanding reputation for providing high quality advice to a particularly vulnerable population of society and I look forward to continuing to build on and support the charity's future development."
