PRISONERS’ ADVICE SERVICE         

FUNDRAISING & COMMUNICATIONS MANAGER

SALARY: NJC SCALE 34 – 37 plus London weighting (£3,405) – subject to experience

The Prisoners’ Advice Service (PAS) is a unique London-based registered charity which provides free legal advice and representation to prisoners regarding their rights – taking legal action where appropriate, and running both an advice line and outreach services. It has a reputation among prisoners and other legal advisers for high quality legal advice and excellent casework.

PAS is seeking to recruit a Fundraising and Communications Manager, who will be responsible for the development and implementation of PAS’ fundraising and communication strategy aimed at raising approximately £400,000 to £450,000 each year from a variety of funding sources including trusts & foundations, grant giving bodies, corporates, individuals (major donors and mass small scale).

Significant experience in fundraising in the charitable sector from a variety of sources is required, together with experience in profile raising communications (newsletters, website, social media, events) and an ability to work effectively in a small team.
