On 24 April, just one day after we posted on our website the guidance on compassionate release during Covid-19, which we had only managed to obtain in the course of judicial review proceedings, the Ministry of Justice finally made public both its guidance on  Compassionate Release on Temporary Licence (for prisoners with high risk health conditions) and that on End of Custody Temporary Release (for low risk prisoners with two months or less left to the end of their sentence).
