Professor Conor Gearty to Give PAS Annual Lecture 7 November 2017
PAS is delighted to announce that our Annual Lecture, 2017, will be given by Professor Conor Gearty on 7th November at Mayer Brown‘s offices in London.
Professor Gearty is a leading academic authority in human rights, was a founder member of Matrix Chambers and is currently a Professor of Human Rights Law and Director of the Institute of Public Affairs at the London School of Economics where he was also, for seven years, Director of the Centre for the Study of Human Rights, an inter-disciplinary research centre.
This year’s lecture is entitled, “Prisons – A Life Without (Human) Rights?”
It will take place on Tuesday 7th November from 6pm to 8pm at Mayer Brown, 201 Bishopsgate, London EC2M 3AF.
